The 2026 U.S. Women’s Open Championship takes place from June 4-7 at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California. The U.S. Women’s Open is always a special week for Amy, since she won the Championship in 1980, but the 2026 edition is extra special for her since Riviera is her home course. She grew up in the shadows of and eventually on the fairways of Riviera, and always dreamed of a U.S. Women’s Open at Riviera. Amy was invited to join award-winning Los Angeles-based sports journalist Ted Sobel’s “Touching Greatness” podcast to talk about all things U.S. Women’s Open, plus many more memories from Amy’s illustrious career.
